# What if I don’t have a wearable?

You don’t need one. Earn It works with the activity sensors already built into your phone, so you can earn Creds across all four categories from day one.

That said, a wearable does open up more earning opportunities - and the Apple Watch is our chosen partner, so it’s where Earn It works best. An Apple Watch tracks things like calories burned, time in daylight, wellness minutes and workout time, which can all add up to more Creds in your Wallet for the same effort - especially for things like cycling, swimming, or a workout class.

One thing worth knowing: different wearables track data differently, and other wearables don’t measure all the same metrics as an Apple Watch - so with another device you may miss out on some of the ways you could be earning.
